Ahipara

Ahipara is a village in the Far North district in the Northland region in the north of the North Island of New Zealand. It is located at the southern end of Ninety Mile Beach.

To the west is the peninsula Tauroa Peninsula in the east of Herekino Forest. Kaitaia is located 14km road miles northeast; in the middle of this road is Pukepoto. In the 2006 census the town had 1,125 residents, so that the population grew by 84 residents since 2001.

Shipwreck Bay, Ahipara is at the southern tip of the Bay and has several visible (at low tide), ship wrecks.
